Position description
Responsible for beverage and Wine service/sales mainly in the Restaurant. Ensure all Hotel Operations functions are carried out in compliance with the line’s Environmental Compliance Plan. Controls the Wine service in the Veranda café or Restaurant according to the daily schedule. Works with the Sommelier when promoting Wine sales. Follows and ensures that the company beverage standards of service are being adhered. Provides prompt, attentive and courteous service to every guest in the assigned Restaurant/Lounge. Strives to always up-sell to better quality premium and super-premium products. By following wine menu presentation. Supports the Sommelier in executing the Wine flash report for the entire bar team. Set up the lunch Beverage service. He is responsible for the Beverage/Wine service. Set up Main lounge Beverage service.
Position requirements
Requirements:
- High School diploma from Hotel School or equivalent degree.
- Practical knowledge of beverage operations and service
- At least two years of working experience as a Sommelier in a fast pace 4 or 5 star Hotel/Bars
- catering to an international clientele.
- Working experience with an extensive beverage program that entails premiums and super
premiums in all beverage categories.
- Strong knowledge of wine service procedures
- A good wine knowledge from the old and the new world.
- Fluent English mandatory other EU will be a plus.
- EU citizenship, EU nationals
Position salary
Competitive Salary monthly+ sales%, full accommodation and meals included; ss; medical insurance; flights paid by the company.
Duration of the contract
Six month contract with two months off rotation + renew.
