Position description
3rd Engineer Officer, Officer of the Watch reporting to the Second Engineer Officer, is responsible for carrying out full and comprehensive watch-keeping rounds in all main machinery spaces. Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of the main machinery spaces; bring any engine room defects, or report to relevant engineering staff; assess and take preliminary actions in a machinery space emergency. Responsibilities will include cleaning and maintaining the engine room, Tender maintenance and repairs
Position requirements
•1 to 2 year experience in equal position on a yacht.
•Qualifications needed: Approved Engine Course (AEC) Marine Engine Operator License (MEOL), Engineer Officer of the Watch (EOOW), Yacht 4 (Y4)
•Ability to work in a team.
•Fluent English mandatory.
•Valid Medical Certificate, ENG1 and relevant STCW95
